It’s been a long time since I have posted in here, I almost forget what having a journal is like lol… it’s hard to find a balance between my privacy and what I’d like to share with the world. I miss the times when it was ok to post anything, but I guess as you grow older, wiser, and the internet more easily accessible to people who actually know you “in real life” it’s a lot harder to express yourself for the general masses.

Lots going on in my life I’m not even sure where to begin. The graphic stuff is going really well for me. I feel like I have evolved so much as a corporate designer (my 9-5). And as far as a creative designer goes, I have grown a lot as well… I’ve been doing a lot of work in the music industry, which is and has always been my dream and lots of big things are happening. Once I get some down time I’ll have my design site up and running but it’s so hard to design for myself… I am my greatest critic and hardly anything I make is ever good enough for me.

Family life is good. Summer time is around so time to work from home full time again. I LOVE IT. I am a much better designer at home. I do like having some “adult” time to get out and such being around co-workers so being in the office for a few hours one day a week helps balance out my sanity! LOL

This was just a quick update, I’ll probably have something interesting to say sometime in the future, just wanted to say “I’m alive!”

Ladies and gentleman. Yes I went from having waist length hair, to this cut. I know it sounds crazy. And most people don’t do it. But I wanted change. I’ve had long hair since, pretty much all my friends and family can remember. And the shortest I’ve ever gone has been chin length so this is definitely a huge change for me. But I love it! It’s short, sexy, and sassy

BTW Project 365 has officially resumed! I slacked for a minute but I’m back!

No longer sick and back on the grind.

I was downloading all these old love songs yesterday and something in me decided that I might want a boyfriend. Now I know a few people probably just fell out of their chair from the first line there “I… downloading… love songs” but lets move on from this.

It sort of reminded me of a time when I was a hopeless romantic. You know before I ever fell in love and got hurt and put up a concrete wall around my heart. I used to be all about R&B and love songs believe it or not. Through the years, having to protect my heart I’ve gotten so far away from that. I mean most days I wake up really glad to be single. I’m too independent to have some dude up in my stuff asking why I didn’t call or text him or why this that or the other. I get into defense mode and eventually just don’t care. I have a lot of male friends, I do business with a lot of good looking men, I have no room for a jealous boyfriend in my life.

But yeah this post isn’t about jealous boyfriends LOL… it’s about the fact that, no offense to anyone, I just don’t know what I’d even like in a man. I mean obviously I know what attracts me to a man, but as far as what would keep my attention besides him ignoring me and us playing games till he’s hooked… that extra “unf”, butterflies in my stomach, something.

Yes I know that you “know it when it comes”. Be patient, yada yada. Don’t look for a man… I’m not. I’m just sharing how I feel so save the mom comments thanks!

Not really in the mood to tell the same story over and over. just because I don’t want to re-live the past few days of my life again. So here goes. Started with a sore throat. went to the flu. gradually most of my lymph nodes swole up. to the point where i could no longer move my neck. was in excrutiating pain. couldn’t take it anymore and went to the ER. they took some xrays and even performed a CT scan, but at the end of the night the Drs didn’t know what was wrong with me so they couldn’t let me go. So there was a lot of blood drawn. They tested me for everything you can imagine and then it was just a matter of waiting. so the next day the results come back and I tested positive for strep throat. of all things! but apperantly it had caused the lymph nodes to swell up. Anyway, so the fun began trying to figure out which anti biotic to put me on… my friends can probably share funny details, but they heart me, so they will keep to themselves lol. so anyway. was supposed to be discharged friday but woke up with a swollen face and eye (probably from all the IV fluids). and finally yesterday late evening i was discharged.

i havent abandoned this site… i have a horrible flu that is kickin my butt and p365 will resume when i make a full recovery. plz keep me in ur prayers. thx!

Not every day is eventful enough for project 365, so you need cool things to take pictures of. Well, I love my new Caddy (still in honeymoon since October) so I thought I’d take yet another pic. Notice the glistening Florida sun coming in (although I hear it’ll be down to 26 degrees tonight!)

I’m a very humble person, anyone that knows me will tell you that, but ocassionally (and with good reason) I do step outta the ‘lac like I’m that chick LOL (and umn all my friends that have rode in or driven the ‘lac feel the same way hehe)
